COO (Chief Operating Officer) NAK Australia. NAK Australia a wholesale distribution company supplying haircare products to the end-user via the professional recommendation of the hairdresser. The company’s mission being ‘to supply hairdressers with an Australian made range of haircare that exceeds the expectations of themselves, their staff and their clients in quality, value and service. The work environment is entrepreneurial, non-formal, non-bureaucratic and very fast.  Staff are encouraged to make decisions and one of the companies’ key success factors is that of its investment in people. The concept of learning to learn continuously and fast so as to keep abreast with continual change is a key driver of our organisation. Within this context of learning, workers offer each other advice, share experiences, adapt and adopt new tools, respond to change, share stories and copy behaviours of other workers. The current and future direction of the company is based on building a strong partnership with hairdressing salons, giving them loyal support in their business, and ensuring that staff are well trained and responsive to client needs.  NAK provides its clients with an innovative Australian haircare range of the highest quality and which the hairdresser would be proud to recommend. Again our staff need to be well trained and client focused and response ready.

Over the past thirteen years NAK have embarked on having our training formally accredited so we have formally undertaken a Diploma of Business, a Diploma of Training and Assessment Systems and the Certificate IV in Training & Assessment. We have in recent years undertaken a BA (Hons) in ‘work based learning’.
