The following terms and conditions govern the Australian Vocational Education and Training Membership and the benefits provided under that Membership. Members are bound by the Association’s Constitution and by any specific terms and conditions imposed under the Constitution and its bylaws. Refund Policy

Membership Approval

The Australian Vocational Professionals Association Inc (AVETPA) reserves the right to refuse/cancel a membership. If the AVETPA refuses a new or renewing membership, registrants will be eligible for a refund less a $10.00 administration fee.

Professional membership only available for practitioners working in the Australian Vocational Education (VET) sector. Corporate membership only available to Australian Registered Training Organisations (RTO).

AVETPA Membership Cancellation 

Requests for membership cancellations must be in writing and signed by the member. Cancellations received within 30 days of becoming a member or renewing members will be eligible to receive a full refund of membership fees less a $10 administration fee. Cancellations will be accepted via email at membership@avetpa.org.au. Cancellations received after the stated deadline will not be eligible for a refund.

Membership fees are non-transferrable.

 

AVETPA Event Cancellation Policy

Event Cancellation by AVETPA

AVETPA reserves the right to cancel an event due to low enrolment or other circumstances which would make the event nonviable.

If AVETPA cancels an event, registrants will be offered a full refund. AVETPA is not responsible for individual expenses related to the event (i.e. hotel, flight, car rental, etc.). Should circumstances arise that result in the postponement of an event, AVETPA has the right to either issue a full refund or transfer registration to the same event at the new, future date.

Event Registration Cancellation by Participant

The deadline to receive a refund for your registration is 30 business days before the event. From the time of paid registration through to the 31st business day before the event, attendees may elect to cancel their registration and receive a full refund.

All refund requests must be made by the attendee and will be accepted via email. Refund requests must be received by the stated cancellation deadline and must include the name of the attendee. Cancellations received after the stated deadline will not be eligible for a refund.

These above policies apply to all AVETPA events unless otherwise noted in event materials. Please read all individual event materials thoroughly for any specific policies, as most events list a specific cancellation date.
