Federal Member for Bowman champions for change after nationwide investigation into ASQA

The vocational education and training sector is obviously sharing and airing concerns on the general direction and focus of the critical role and influence of ASQA across the entire sector.

Federal Member for Bowman. Mr Andrew Laming is championing the types of issues that so many RTOs and VET practitioners have witnessed and/or experienced through what has certainly seen a total change in emphasis from developing a quality sector to a compliant regime that is become a cost inhibitor for many.

It would be great if there was a willingness for wider engagement that embraces listening and responding to the issues as a positive mechanism to support growth, development and quality throughout the vocational education sector. Members of AVETPA have shared their personal desire to change the focus into a more collegial relationship that worshippers towards agreed outcomes that will engage and build a rapport to strengthen and build the sector to what it once was, a world leader.

Please support the efforts to bring about some change and make your voice count to support our industry sector.
